Lapis Lazuli Necklace

Wearable Art made by my hands and Mother Nature.

Lapis Lazuli was very highly valued amongst many Ancient cultures because of its beautiful deep blue colour and the valuable ultramarine dye derived from it. Lapis Lazuli adorned the burial treasures of Ancient Kings and Queens of many cultures. 

It is a universal symbol of wisdom and truth and encourages communication and the desire for knowledge and understanding. Lapis is an excellent stone for students and truth seekers.

This Lapis is a gorgeous celestial blue with the characteristic golden Pyrite speckles on one face. 

This pendant measures 47mm wide 40mm high.

I strung this Lapis Lazuli  on a 90cm hand braided  adjustable cord. The stopper beads are Tiger's Eye, Clear Quartz and Fossilised Coral.

I use high quality Linhasita macrame cord imported from Brazil. I believe it is the best on the market, it is very durable and long lasting.
