This crystal cluster  is 100% natural Amethyst. The black "crust" of the natural geode, surrounding the Amethyst clusters, has been reshaped so that the piece stands easily and is stable.

The name in Greek means "not intoxicated" and Amethyst is indeed well known as a grounding, tranquil and calming stone.

Amethyst is a purple form of Quartz, its colour ranges from very pale to deep pink or blue based  purple. 

This piece is a beautiful shade of lavender and has lots of sparkle! It is quite chunky and stands freely on a flat base.
