Bone Godess Mala

I made this long necklace in the style of Mala Meditation or Prayer beads.

Traditional mala necklaces have 108 beads, which reflects a sacred number in both Hinduism and Buddhism.

I moulded this Godess figure from Ploymer clay and Amazonite. She is a stylised version of The Willendorf woman - a figure found in Germany in 1908 that was dated as 30 000 years old. She is thought to represent creativity, birth, fertility, sexual union, nurturing, and the cycle of life.

The beads are Rhodochrosite, Yellow Aventurine, Blue Apatite, Genuine Bone and Blue Chalcedony. 

Amazonite is an extremely soothing stone. It calms the brain and nervous system.

Rhodochrosite opens the heart, lifting depression and encouraging a positive and cheerful outlook. It improves self worth and soothes emotional stress. 

Yellow Aventurine opens and balances the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras. It is especially helpful for those who are oversensitive or indecisive, aiding in overcoming any feelings of problems with power and control over your own life.

Blue Apatite works with the throat chakra, it heals the heart and emotions. Blue Apatite connects to a very high level of spiritual guidance

This necklace is approximately 74cm long and weighs 29g. The goddess pendant is 36mm tall. 

I use high quality Linhasita macrame cord imported from Brazil. I believe it is the best on the market, it is very durable and long lasting. Each bead has been hand knotted in to place.
